Approximately 45,000 smarty-pants live in this neighborhood, which is home to Metropolitan State University of  Denver, the University of Colorado Denver and the Community College of Denver. Auraria has affordable student housing and is close enough to LoDo that when study time is over, students can trade books for brews.
