Affiliate tools provider Prosperent is moving to Denver's RiNo neighborhood

Prosperent is moving north from Colorado Springs and setting up shop at RiNo's Block 32 next month.

"Our move-in date is April 1," says Co-Founder and President Mike Christensen. "It's a pretty cool building."

"We personally want to be in a thriving, youthful culture," says Christensen of the move. "We're definitely looking forward to being part of Denver's startup community."

Christensen started the company in 2009 with CEO Brian Lovett and CTO Andrew Keller. "We were affiliate marketers ourselves," he says. "After getting giant data files from our network, we needed a tool that could search them" -- so they developed one themselves.

"We became a middleman between the affiliates and the affiliate networks," says Christensen. The software is free, he adds, and Prosperent earns a 20 to 30 percent commission off of user transactions that stem from its dynamic ads, API, and other tools.

Now four employees, Prosperent is on the cusp of unveiling a new technology in spring 2013 and Christensen anticipates adding staff by the end of the year.

"We're struggling to find talent in Colorado Springs," he says. "The main reason we're moving is workforce availability. There's definitely a stark contrast between the startup communities in Denver and Colorado Springs."
