Five Points-based Lifetime Windows and Siding growing with innovative approach

Lifetime Windows and Siding has quickly hit the 50-employee mark, and is looking to fill numerous marketing positions by the end of 2013.

Robert Gower, Lifetime's Executive Director of Marketing, says he expects the Five Points-based company to hire 15 to 20 new employees in the coming months. "We are always hiring," he says.

Founders Jason Lewis and Peter Svedin started the company in 2009 and have seen fast and furious growth in the time since. Sales grew by nearly 300 percent in 2012, eclipsing $5 million. In 2013, the story is the same, says Gower. "We should be doubling. It's been a very quick ramp-up."

Lifetime owes the dynamic growth to quality products as well as innovative marketing, says Gower.

"Everything is interconnected, from canvassing to our call center to customer services," says Gower. He says Lifetime takes "a much more aggressive approach to Internet marketing" than typical window and siding companies, employing YouTube and SEO to drive traffic.

Gower says the average customer enjoys 25 percent  drop in heating and cooling bills with new windows, and some customers have seen even more substantial savings. While new siding can help conserve energy, new windows are "key," says Gower.
