Cherry Creek home to be raffled for charity

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver has launched its fifth annual Dream House Raffle, offering participants a chance to win a $3.25 million home in Cherry Creek or $2 million in cash.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs, with all funds supporting the organization’s local programs, including 14 clubs serving metro Denver.

“2012 was the most successful year this fundraising effort has seen, bringing more than $1 million to support local Boys & Girls Clubs programs,” says John Arigoni, president and chief executive of the non-profit organization.

The 7,000-square-foot custom home comes fully furnished with name-brand appliances and custom furniture. The five-bedroom, five-bath home also includes a chef’s kitchen, wine cellar, a fully equipped movie theater and exercise rooms. I has an outdoor pool and fireplace.

Raffle tickets will be available through May 17, with the grand prize drawing to be held June 1. One ticket is $150, three tickets are $400 and five tickets are $550.

Tickets purchased before April 19 will be eligible for more than $100,000 in Early Bird prizes, ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. People who purchase multiple tickets or refer friends are eligible for bonus prizes, including a 2013 Mercedes SLK 250, a Hawaiian vacation or additional cash.
