City hosts restaurant, hospitality job fair

The Denver Office of Economic Development is working with area employers in the hospitality and restaurant industries to host a free job fair from 1 to 4 p.m. April 22 at the Homewood Suites by Hilton-Denver Downtown Convention Center.

Job seekers for both entry-level as well as more advanced positions are encouraged to attend the networking and hiring event. The first hour is reserved for veterans. The general public is welcome from 2 to 4 p.m.

Veterans who plan to attend the event must register at www.VeteransHandRJobFair.eventbrite.com. The general public can register at can register at www.PublicHandRJobFair.eventbrite.com.

Participants should create or update their profiles in advance at www.connectingcolorado.com. They also should bring extra copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview.

Hospitality and restaurant employers interested in participating in the job fair to fill current and future openings can find details and the registration form at www.denvergov.org/oed by clicking on "Workforce Development" and "For Employers."
